Slipknot’s Next Record Will Feature Paul Gray

Paul Gray

You know it!

Artisan News is reporting that Slipknot’s Shawn Crahan (better known as Clown) has confirmed that music written by late Slipknot bassist Paul Gray will be on the band’s next album.

Yup. That’s either cool, morbid, or both.

“There are songs that he’s written that will be a part of the next record,” Crahan said.

“We’re all going to have to think like him, and he’ll be there. He’ll be there; there’s no way [that] Paul Gray [will not be] a part of anything that we do for the rest of our career,” says Clown.

I wonder just how much material they have from Gray, and whether there should be some sort of album — instead — of Paul’s work…so maybe his widow and child can benefit.

Just an idea.
