German thrash metal vets Sodom are holed up somewhere, currently writing material for their next studio album.

The band plans to record the effort this May. A tentative late summer release is expected, to be followed by a celebration of the band’s 30th anniversary.

Wow. I was only five when Sodom formed. That’s fucking nuts.

Expect the new Sodom record to sound like the last Sodom record — the cleverly-titled In War And Pieces.
