Some Writer For Friends Was Into Carcass

Carcass

The other day, a bunch of sites posted a video clip from some soap opera where they mentioned the band Genghis Tron, because, well…I’ve never been a fan. It was amusing, but, not worth a post, I didn’t think. Today, though, Metal Injection discovered more heavy metal mentions on TV. This time, Friends namedropped Carcass.

What’s next? Undiscovered footage of Kramer mentioning Dark Throne?

I must admit, I love Carcass. Always have, always will. I was at their reunion show in New York a few years back, when they played the Nokia. Damn, were they fucking awesome. Mike was making sweet demonic love to his guitar, and I had a prime spot in the VIP section where I watched it all with by buddy The Goat. Carcass are one of the best bands ever. There’s no debating it.

I remember a girlfriend forcing me to watch this show when it was on. I don’t remember this episode. Surely, I would have remembered them mentioning Carcass! Guess that just shows you how much I was paying attention.
