Enslaved

Ah shit, homeslice!

Soulfly have revealed the art work for their forthcoming eighth album, which is called Enslaved.

I like how old school the art feels. Am I nuts? It looks like the cover of an old, underground thrash demo.

Soulfly’s Enslaved will be in stores March 13 through Roadrunner Records.

The CD was recorded at Tallcat Studios in Phoenix, Arizona, and was produced by Chris “Zeuss” Harris, who happens the be only the third coolest Chris Harris, after me and that dude who plays football.

The album features guest appearances by Dez Fafara of DevilDriver and Travis Ryan of Cattle Decapitation.

I am psyched. So very psyched for this album. I have a feeling it’s going to be good. Maybe I’m nuts, but call it a hunch.

Soulfly’s current lineup features Max Cavalera, of course, and guitarist Marc Rizzo, with Static-X’s Tony Campos on bass, and Borknagar and Arsis drummer David Kinkade.
