OK, so, if you weren’t excited about Strife’s forthcoming album before now, that should change.

Strife — who will begin tracking their new album in Brazil next week — have enlisted with Igor Cavalera, known for his work with Sepultura and Cavalera Conspiracy.

Terror drummer Nick Jett has been asked to oversee the production duties for the outing, which will be recorded at Mix Nova Studios.

Later, additional sessions will occur at Sunset Lodge in Los Angeles with Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed) taking care of the mastering.

“This album is going to be our best release yet… We have been working on preproduction tracks for the last few months, and the songs are amazing…,” says guitarist Andrew Kline.

“This record is more along the lines of In This Defiance, but with a harder and a little more modern edge… Plus Igor’s drumming is really going to take everything to the next level.”
