System Of A Down’s reunion is but a mere official announcement away, as Blabbermouth has discovered a video (embedded at the end of this post) promoting the upcoming Rock am Ring and Rock im Park festivals, set to take place June 3 through June 5, 2011, in the German towns of Nürburgring and Nürnberg, respectively.
System are expected to make the reunion official on Monday, after months of hints and suggestions that the band were mounting a comeback. This finding only confirms the rumors, and ultimately, pulls the rug out from under the big announcement. Others performing at this year’s festivals include Coldplay, In Flames, Kings of Leon, Volbeat, and Hurts.
