The Argonauts Lose Frontman

Because I don't have a picture of the Argonauts

Well, that was quick.

The Argonauts — which features former members of Burnt By The Sun — are down a man, following the departure of Dimitri Minakakis…a dude who also left the Dillinger Escape Plan way back when.

Minakakis has been replaced by Chris Alfano of East Of The Wall. It’s for the best. I hate writing that dude’s last name. I always feel like I’m fucking it up.

“Argonauts will be moving on without Dimitri,” the band says in a statement. “Scheduling is the issue here…Dimitri just could not commit his schedule fully to what the band needed.”

That blows.

“We’re bummed, but it’s a reality that came to light,” the band added.

The Argonauts have two shows booked for this month, which I am going to try and make: One is booked for January 27 in Warren, New Jersey (with Tiger Flowers), and the other is set for January 28 in Long Branch, New Jersey, with Social Decay and Pitch Black Sleep.
