The Haunted Lose Frontman Peter Dolving

Peter Dolving

Why am I not surprised?

Vocalist Peter Dolving has announced through his Facebook page that he has left the Swedish metal band The Haunted.

It’s cool. They haven’t put out a decent record in ten years.

“I am officially quitting The Haunted,” Dolving writes.

“After years of working with the band, I am out. I have had it. I will NOT answer questions to why. It’s no one else’s business. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to seeing you people at other shows with other projects.”

OK. So, The Haunted need a new singer. Something tells me the band might just throw in the towel.

They probably should.

I don’t care what anyone thinks, The Haunted have killed it on every record they’ve put out; sure their last effort was a bit experimental and tried to be mainstream, but it’s nice not to hear the same shit every record. Peter’s an amazing vocalist, a great performer as well, and if you’ve ever read his blogs you’ve probably come to the conclusion he is a sometimes crazy but genius ranter.

I’m not suprised he’s done with The Haunted, he’s done nothing but promote his latest project, ROSVO, on Facebook. I’m sure we’ll be hearing about him still for some time…much respect Mr. Dolving.

they should just play At the gates shows and make the whole world happy. The 2008 reunion show I went to in california was the greatest show I have ever been to
