The Monolith Deathcult Recording

The Monolith Deathcult

Yup.

We’ve known since this spring that Dutch extreme metal act The Monolith Deathcult have been working on new material after signing with Season of Mist.

Well, the band has entered a recording studio, so riffs are being committed to tape.

The Monolith Deathcult hit the studio last month to begin recording their fourth full-length album, Tetragrammaton, for an early 2013 release.

Song titles set to appear on the disc include “Human Wave Attack,” “Drugs, Thugs & Machetes,” “Todesnacht von Stammheim,” “Quasr Al-Nihaya” and “Aslimu!!! All Slain Those Who Brought Down Our Highly Respected Symbols To The Lower Status Of The Barren Earth,” which I was going to use as the title of my autobiography.

I can’t use it now!

No word on whether the band will be touring in support of the new stuff, but we will keep you posted.
