Tony Iommi Returned To Hospital Following Sabbath Tour

The man

As soon as Black Sabbath’s North American reunion tour wrapped, Tony Iommi, who wrote every riff ever, went right back to the hospital.

Iommi wrote online: “Well, we’ve finished the U.S. leg of our world tour. It was a bit longer than I would have liked as I’ve already been in hospital having another infusion.

“The tour was amazing though, you always hope it’s going to go well but you never know,” he writes. “It’s great to look out and see so many people of all ages.”

Iommi didn’t reveal if he’s still in the hospital, but he did say a while ago that he’d be returning to the hospital for routine treatments.

Black Sabbath next will head to South America next month for shows.
