Tool’s Keenan Says No New Album In 2013

The answer’s not so black and white.

The Pulse Of Radio claims Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan said the band will not release a new album in 2013 during an interview with Chile’s Radio Futuro.

When asked about the prospects of a 2013 release, after seven years of relative dormancy from Tool but plenty of output from Maynard’s quirky side projects, dude said, “No new disc. Not this year…I have not written any songs. So no, there is nothing.”

Well, gee. Thanks for being so blunt, Maynard.

Less working on goofy side projects no one ultimately cares about, more working on Tool.

Please.
