Sometimes, these promoters get pissed when bands blow up their spots, and drop ‘em from tours.

That could happen here.

A recent Facebook post from Sumerian Records has folks speculating as to who’ll be the next band announced for Summer Slaughter.

The organizers of the fest have unveiled a new band each Sunday as they’ve slowly announced the Summer Slaughter bill.

The post claims a special announcement is coming “Sunday” and it includes a link to a Veil of Maya video.

Veil of Maya have a new album called Eclipse slated for release February 28.

    i agree, summer slaughter is going to be pissed that sumerian is blowing up their spot. veil of maya definitely will be dropped from this tour.

    side note, isnt it weird that sumerian is run by a guy named ash avildsen, and that summer slaughter is organized by a guy named ash avildsen as well? pretty common name though, so i guess its not that weird.

      I did not know that Ash organized Summer Slaughter. That actually makes no sense to me, but I did some research, and you are right. What’s it like being right all the time? Must be awesome.
