VIDEO: Killswitch Engage Make Triumphant NEM&HF Return

Killswitch Engage

I wasn’t able to be in Worcester this year for the New England Metal and Hardcore Fest because I’m a broke son-of-a-bee. So, I missed Killswitch Engage’s first reunion gig with original singer — and GSA scribe — Jesse Leach.

Thanks to the power of the Webernets, we can now see video shot at the fest of Killswitch Engage returning to the NEM&HF stage last night.

As you will see, a video montage preceded the set, with Peaches and Herbs’ “Reunited” as the soundtrack. Faith No More did the same thing when they played in Brooklyn.

After the montage, the band launched into “Numbered Days,” and then played a set that featured material Jesse recorded and didn’t record, like “Rose of Sharyn” and “Take This Oath.”

After 14 tracks, the band came out for an encore of “My Last Serenade” and their cover of Dio’s “Holy Diver.”
