At the end of this post, you can watch a one-hour documentary created by Michael Dafferner, the singer for mathcore act Car Bomb.

Called “Why You Do This,” the film boasts interviews with members of Lamb of God, Gojira, Charred Walls of the Damned and Goatwhore, among others.

“Why You Do This” is a personal story told through Dafferner’s eyes.

In 2007, Michael ventured out on his first U.S. tour and discovered that performing in an unknown band playing an unknown genre of music is not the ego-boosting experience he was hoping for.

Just watch it. I am sure you will enjoy it. And that opinion is based on nothing.
