Wintersun, Eluveitie Announce North American Tour

I almost don’t want to believe the new Wintersun record’s actually coming out. At least not until I get it.

Same goes for Wintersun touring the states. It’s never happened, so, I kind of don’t want to believe it…so it happens.

Anyways, I did receive a press release claiming Swiss folk metal titans Eluveitie and Wintersun will co-headline a North American tour this winter…so it’s probably true.

The trek will commemorate Eluveitie’s 10th anniversary as well as serve as Wintersun’s introduction to North American shores.

This momentous event will also include the German pagan metal band Varg. Fucking kick ass!
“We are very excited to tour US and Canada for the first time in November/December,” commented Wintersun mastermind Jari  Mäenpää. “We´ve had lots of requests from the fans before, but finally we are able to come there and kick some ass with new material from the Time I album and of course play the old stuff too! Hope to see you guys there. Let´s make it special!”
