3 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Buy the Asus Zenfone 2

At least a dozen reasons support people to go for the Asus Zenfone 2, but there are some that justify why you shouldn’t.

While it might sound like bad criticism, in fact, there are cons to the device, contrary to what most reviewers have been saying.

If you have had the chance to go through the reviews, you would have come through these cons. This article will help you understand the disadvantages of buying an Asus Zenfone 2. It doesn’t mean that you should stay away from the phone. It is definitely a good one in terms of build quality, design and performance, but some people just can’t settle for less. If you are a perfectionist, keep reading and know why it is not advisable to buy the phone.

Too much of bloatware

Have you heard of bloatware? When you buy a phone, based on the brand you choose, you might come across a lot of unwanted apps installed on the device. Many of them cannot be uninstalled which makes it even more annoying. Asus Zenfone 2 has so many of these bloatware that people who hate having unnecessary software installed on their phone will find it really annoying. If you are one among the community, never buy this phone. The bloatware has been pointed out by reviewers in most reviews.

Bad button placement

Another big problem with the Asus Zenfone 2 is that it has the buttons placed in all the wrong order. Assuming that people will find it convenient if the volume buttons are placed at the back, Asus has made the worst decision of all time. They have placed the buttons below the camera which is a really bad choice that couldn’t be changed until the Zenfone 3 gets launched. Most phones have the volume rocker on the sides which is readily accessible. If you hold the phone in real, you will understand why it is so inconvenient to have buttons placed on the back panel.

Poor camera performance

Even though, the phone is good in other departments, its camera doesn’t deliver the best results unless you are going to shoot pictures in ideal conditions. Most phones do tend to produce good images when you use the camera in brightly lit conditions. The same is applicable for the Zenfone 2 and it becomes really poor if you try to capture pictures in dimly lit areas or in the night. The flash doesn’t help much either.
