We don’t know yet what it’ll be called but the next album from A Pale Horse Named Death will be coming late this spring.
A press release today announced the follow up to the band’s critically acclaimed debut And Hell Will Follow Me will be released by SPV Records.
The band has once again commissioned famed artist Sam Shearon (a.k.a. Mister-Sam, who has worked for Rob Zombie, Fear Factory and Rammstein) to create the artwork for the as-yet-untitled album.
A Pale Horse Named Death features former Type O Negative and Life of Agony member Sal Abruscato, who released a statement on the disc.
“The sound has evolved and become a bit more orchestrated,” Sal says.
“More harmony work has been done on this album, including new elements such as a Hammond B3 organ and piano. To me the album has an even darker sound and feel than the first one.
“The new album is a natural progression in song writing and vocals yet keeping continuity with the first album musically and artistically,” he adds. “Fans of our first album will find all the traits they love melded with even bigger production and mastering. Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound will be mastering the album.”
