AC/DC Tap Brendan O’Brien To Produce New LP

Sessions beginning in Canada for next LP

Reports are claiming AC/DC’s gear has arrived at the Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada — the studio in which the band will be working from May through July on its new album.

Producer Brendan O’Brien will oversee the sessions.

He also produced AC/DC’s 2008 album Black Ice.

The group’s next CD is tentatively due before the end of the year.

The band will be working on the disc without guitarist Malcolm Young, who is stepping away from the band due to illness.
