It is true, people.
Accept are down to men after parting ways with both guitarist Herman Frank and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann.
The band has issued a statement on the matter, thanking both musicians “for being with us these last four-plus years, for making themselves available whenever needed and for rocking their asses off!”
The statement adds:
“We and the fans all knew that they had their own careers and that eventually we would run into scheduling and other conflicts beyond our control. Herman and Stefan are now ready to take on the world, with their own band Panzer, a Nuclear Blast record deal under their belts and a new album!
“We are parting as friends and wish them nothing but success!”
Accept’s statement continues, revealing they’ll be touring heavily over the course of the impending new year.
The statement failed to identify any replacements that may have been found for Frank and Schwarzmann, if any have been at all.
