Why? Why Adam, why? Now every time Mariano Rivera exits the bullpen to close things out, I’m gonna think of gay stuff. Like hot pants.
Adam Lambert — the lipstick-donning “American Idol” runner-up from two years ago — covered Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” over the weekend during a live gig in New Zealand, forever ruining the track for me. Apparently, dude played the song in honor of his bassist Tommy Joe Ratliff’s birthday. I guess he likes Metallica.
Adam and Shakira share something in common: They’ve both covered Metallica songs live recently. Decidedly, Shakira’s cover of “Nothing Else Matters” puts Lambert’s “Enter Sandman” to shame. And doesn’t make me think of gay stuff. Video of Lambert massacring the song after the jump. And just because I don’t think Adam Lambert is aesthetically pleasing, here’s a pic of lingerie model Doutzen Kroes.
