That is a shitty fucking fact, folks.
But look — we’e all gonna die at some point, so I guess we shouldn’t feel so bad for Tommy Ramone.
The last surviving original member of legendary New York punk quartet The Ramones died Friday at his home in Ridgewood, Queens, following treatment for bile duct cancer.
He was 65-years-old.
Born Erdelyi Tamas, Ramone is survived by Tienan and an older brother.
A private funeral service is being planned.
Tommy Ramone is credited with writing “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” and the majority of one of my favorite Ramones tunes, “Blitzkrieg Bop.”
