All That Remains want to be the biggest band on the planet.
It’s obvious. But you can’t knock them for that. I’d love to be the biggest metal site on the webernets…but being the best is often more important.
But yeah — Phil Labonte wants to be beloved, and wants to be a rock radio fixture.
This was evident with the band’s last album, the tour’s they’ve chosen to accept, and Phil’s own words, basically.
Playing a bunch of radio shows — the dates for which follow at the end of this post — sometimes helps secure a band more radio airplay. So why wouldn’t All That Remains play these shows?
They have a new record coming out (called A War You Can Not Win), and they want people to know about it. And a lot of mindless fucks still listen to commercial rock radio, and base their music purchasing choices on what global media giants dictate is worthy.
Here are those dates:
9/28: Phoenix, AZ @ Ashley Furniture Homestore Pavilion (“Desert Uprising”)
9/29: Las Vegas, NV @ Mandalay Bay Resort (“Rock Vegas”)
9/30: Tucson, AZ @ Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium (“Fall Ball”)
10/26: Orlando, FL @ Tinker Field (“Halloweenie Roast”)
10/27: Tampa, FL @ 1-800-Ask-Gary Amphitheatre (“Halloweenie Roast”)
