Someone must give a fuck, right?
Maybe not you or I, but someone.
American Head Charge have set July 23 as the release date for their new EP Shoot.
The effort was tracked at Studio D Productions in Cleveland, Ohio, with Don Debiase.
“We’re extremely proud of this little gem,” says bassist Chad Hanks.
“For an EP, it was a long, arduous process that spanned 5 states and 6 studios, but we persevered and succeeded.
“This is our first major step back into the game, and the next step in serving up a full-length AHC record,” Hanks promised. “The ‘heavy music scene’ is even worse off than we left it 6 years ago. We’re looking to rectify that.”
You’ve got to be kidding me.
There’s bands on the scene like Devourment, Revocation, Sylosis, Gojira, and Watain (to name just a few off the top of my head) and you think things are worse now than six years ago?
Good thing American Head Charge is back to save all of us from the mediocre “heavy music” scene.
Here’s the EP’s track listing, because that somehow matters to people.
2. “Set Yourself On Fire”
3. “Sugars Of Someday”
5. “Rock N Roll Nigger” (Patti Smith cover)
