Another Puscifer Release To Further Delay Tool LP

All Re-Mixed Up

I feel like Puscifer is Maynard James Keenan’s excuse for not making Tool records quicker. Like Serj Tankian releases solo albums as to not release System of a Down records, so too, it seems, does Maynard issue Puscifer offerings to avoid Tool sessions.

What’s feels like the 114th Puscifer outing to be released since the last Tool album, All Re-Mixed Up will boast tunes from Conditions Of My Parole, reimagined.

All Re-Mixed Up is the continuation of the Puscifer tradition to release alternate versions, reworks, and remixes of what we consider initial thought,” says Maynard.

I thought the tradition was to delay Tool music.

“For instance, Carina Round was nervous about how to approach her version of ‘Telling Ghosts.’ Mat Mitchell put her at ease by asking her to think of it as a song half written, advising her to ‘now write the other half.’ It’s extremely liberating in the digital age to approach composing and creating in this manner. Infinite paths to explore, reinterpret, and re-present.”

Here’s the track listing:

1: “Monsters” (Deconstruct) (remixed by Mat Mitchell)
