Lucky for us, it doesn’t involve music. Scott Ian rules, but Chris Jericho is like crotch rot to music. You get anywhere near his “songs,” and you wanna rapidly retreat, back into air that’s breathable.
Yes, Anthrax’s Ian and Fozzy’s wrestling and stars dancing Jericho will team up for two nights of spoken word in Australia at the end of February.
Dubbed “An evening of stories from 30 years of metal, wrestling…and drinking!,” the event will feature Ian and Jericho delivering “a no-holds-barred question-and-answer session [where] absolutely nothing will be off limits,” a press release says.
Nothing? Not even anal? Please, if any of you attend, ask Scott or Chris if they like anal. Don’t specify whether that’s giving or receiving. We’ll cover your impending medical costs.
“This is something I’ve wanted to do for a very long time. I’ve been traveling the world in the company of and hanging out with the greatest people on the planet for 31 years and I’ve got to tales to tell,” says Ian.
Jericho is one of the greatest showmen of the modern era, a press release claims, and Melbourne and Sydney fans will get to hear first-hand uncensored tales from the roads he’s travelled as both WWE champion and with his shitty band.
Tickets are strictly limited and available from tomorrow (Febraury 12) at 9 a.m. AEDT. More information is available here.
The gigs will go down February 26 in Sydney at Oxford Arts Factory and February 27 in Melbourne at The Toff In Town.
