No, they won’t be playable characters you can body check into the glass — the songs of Anthrax and Judas Priest will be in “NHL 12,” Electronic Arts’ forthcoming latest installment in the gaming series.
I used to play “NHL 2001” and “NHL 2002” on my GameCube. That shit was the bomb. I think they called it 2K1 and 2K2. I’m not sure. I’d have to go into my basement to dig those bad boys up. But I haven’t played any of the recent ones. Are they any good? If EA wants to add me to their mailing list again, I have a Wii.
Who else will be featured on the video game’s soundtrack when it is released on all console platforms on September 13? Glad you asked. Black Tide, Blackguard, and even the Murderdolls.
Against Me are also on the soundtrack, along with Beady Eye (who?), Billy Idol, Bush, Death Letters, the Dropkick Murphys, ELO, Manchester Orchestra, and Middle Class Rut.
