Anthrax: More Covers Recorded…For Some Reason

For a few weeks now, Anthrax have been teasing us.

Like that chick you knew when you were 14 who told you before school one morning she was gonna blow you that night, only to later tell you she’s too drunk to suck your peen. Fucking tease.

I hate teases, but know they are necessary to build hype ahead of a release — whether that be of the album kind or the poison variety.

We don’t know why, specifically, Anthrax have been recording covers as of late, but Anthrax have been recording some covers as of late, including a rendition of Black Sabbath’s “Neon Knights” for a planned Ronnie James Dio tribute.

The band has now revealed they’ve tracked four more covers.

They’ve got on they’ve done of AC/DC’s “T.N.T.” (a right good rock tune), Boston’s “Smokin’” and Rush’s “Anthem.”

The fourth cover is over Journey’s song “Keep On Runnin’” the band claims.

We’ll keep you posted on when and where these covers will be available to you, the Anthrax fan.
