Reports claim Anthrax have settled a lawsuit with former singer Dan Nelson, spurred by his tumultuous ousting.
The settlement followed two hours of closed-door negotiations with a judge in Manhattan federal court Monday.
The members of Anthrax allegedly walked out of court all smiled.
We will never know the details of the settlement, as they will never be disclosed.
Nelson sued the band in November for more than $2 million bucks.

In related news, Scott Ian says the band’s not working on an album of covers, which contradicts recent reports.
“It’s not at all what we’re doing. We just always record cover songs,” he tells my pal Dave Basner.
“They just happen when we’re in the studio or when we’re touring, we get bored of jamming on our own songs at soundcheck, so you end up jamming on cover songs and eventually we’ll end up recording them and eventually, somehow, they end up getting released in some way, shape or form as B-sides, but we’re definitely not working on a covers album.”
