Southern Fried rock troupe Anti-Mortem have signed a deal with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, a new division of the company headed by ex-Roadrunner Records senior vice president of A&R Monte Conner and Nuclear Blast owner Markus Staiger.
At the end of this post, you can see an official video from the band and hear one of their songs.
To my ears, they sound like a watered-down Pantera.
And if I wanted to listen to a watered-down Pantera, I’d listen to The Great Southern Trendkill.
The band will hit the studio next month to record their debut album for the label with producer Bob Marlette.
A release later this year is expected.
