Anvil, that band everyone claims to love not because of their music but only because everyone thinks it’s supposed to be cool to say they like them, is recording new music.
Anvil have entered NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, California, with producer Bob Marlette to begin recording their next LP.
Called Hope In Hell, the album will be released late this spring or early this summer through The End Records in North America and SPV/Steamhammer in Europe.
I bet you’re so excited to tell your friends about the new Anvil record.
The CD will mark the recording debut with the band of bassist Sal Italiano, who replaced Glenn Gyorffy (a.k.a. Glenn Five or G5) in January.
Marlette previously worked with Anvil on last year’s Juggernaut Of Justice, which you never actually listened to but told your friends was “not as good as their last one.”
