Queensrÿche have released a video for the single “Fallout,” which appears on their self-titled album that hit #23 on the Billboard 200 chart in its first week of release.
The video — which follows — is thrown together from live footage and behind the scenes sound-check footage.
Really, its nothing appealing whatsoever and seems like it was done as a last-minute college project by a C student taking a film class as an elective. The band have been playing shows on and off lately and easily could have booked a day at home to shoot a proper video.
However, I see the point of this video.
It shows Toddrÿche playing to a huge crowd in Germany, while Taterÿche haven’t managed a gig outside of North America.
Fans are readily accepting Todd as the new singer and are welcoming the band back with open arms and ear-to-ear smiles. This is more of a statement than a music video and I’m okay with that.
Most music videos are stupid and hokey anyway.
