Arch Enemy Set Release Date For Khaos Legions

Dropping May 31

The new Arch Enemy record will be out May 31 through Century Media. Yes, that’s right — Khaos Legions, the band’s latest studio set, will drop on May 31. Now, you won’t forget and will have no excuse not to pick up a copy.

After all, the guitarist for Carcass is in that band! According to a press release, “the record will mark a return to new, original material, after releasing the Tyrants Of The Rising Sun – Live In Japan live DVD/CD (2008) and the re-recordings album, The Root Of All Evil.”

I wasn’t the biggest fan of that last record, but fuck — I’ll always give a new Arch Enemy album a chance. In fact, our first chance to hear something from the new disc will come this Friday (April 1). No joke.

A track by the name of “Yesterday Is Dead And Gone” will be available as a free download. We’ll bring you a link to that download when we get it on Friday.

Yes, April 1 — or April Fool’s — is this Friday. I wonder what wackiness other lame-ass sites have planned for their home pages? Is it me, or is that just the lamest shit? You go to read some blog and you get dicked around by people who’re amazed at how clever they are. Fuck that noise. We’ll be bringing you the news, without annoying you anymore than we normally do.
