Chris Amott, the third coolest dude to be named Chris and the former guitarist for Arch Enemy, has returned with his band Armageddon.

But the group’s got a slightly different feel, with new members and everything.

Get a taste of the new band’s sound at the end of this post, where you’ll find a lyric video for Armageddon’s cut “Captivity and Devourment.”

The band first came to life in 1997, but has been dormant since the early 2000s.

The band is based out of New York City, and has brought unto itself a crushing lineup of musicians.

A dude name Matt Hallquist will handle lead vocals, with a dude named Joey Concepcion on guitars, a lass named Sara Claudius on bass and drummer Márton Veress.
