If Facebook posts are to be believed, fans of that band As Blood Runs Black are none too happy this morning they forked over money a year ago to fund the band’s new album.
The record — called Ground Zero — is in stores now, but digital copies of the album have not been delivered to some of the fans who helped raise $25,174 through the campaign.
About 100 people paid $10 for an advanced digital download of the new album, and the band never delivered it.
As Blood Runs Black has responded in comments sections online — where fans are letting loose on the band — that promised perks and downloads of the album are on their way.
When that did little to quell complaints, the band blamed another source for the confusion.
“Wasn’t our fault. Were on tour right now and was under the impression things would get taken care of. E-mail [email protected] to get an update on your status.”
As you know, As Blood Runs Black are breaking up soon. I think.
