As Expected, Black Sabbath Win Metal Grammy

Even though Killswitch Engage was more deserving, legacy act Black Sabbath walked away with the Grammy for “Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance.”

The win was announced during the pre-telecast ceremony at the 56th annual Grammy Awards, which is being held tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Black Sabbath won for their boring track “God Is Dead?”

That song comes from their Bill Ward-less album 13.

I guess just being nominated is enough but I would have like to have seen Killswitch take it.

It would have legitimized the award.
