As I Lay Dying Frontman Hearing Moved To November 13

Tim in court

This happens all the time. With court cases, its always “Let’s hurry up and wait.”

Hearings are delayed, rescheduled…it’s amazing any case is every settled.

According to Lambgoat, As I Lay Dying vocalist Tim Lambesis’ trial was to start in September for trying to hire someone to kill his estranged wife.

A subsequent hearing was set for October 22, and that day came and went with nary a mention of Lambesis.

Turns out on October 22, Lambesis’ attorney was apparently tied up with another trial, so the judge delayed the case.

Lambesis will now go before Judge Aaron Katz on Wednesday, November 13, at the North County Superior Courthouse in Vista, California, for an “arraignment on information” hearing.

Looks like Lambesis will likely plead not guilty during that hearing, at which time pre-trial motions will be accepted by the court.

Or, the prosecutor could work out a deal with Tim, but the chances of that happening or zero to none.
