Delays continue to bog down the service of justice out in Southern California, according to Lambchode.

As I Lay Dying’s singer Tim Lambesis was back in court today for a readiness conference related the State of California’s criminal case against him.

As you well know, Lambesis stands accused of trying to hire a hit man to kill his estranged wife; for the record, Tim’s lawyer claims this is all just a big misunderstanding.

While a discussion was to take place between both sides in the case on the possibility of a disposition without trial, such a chat did not happen.

Lambesisgoat claims Tim was present for today’s proceedings, accompanied by his parents and attorney, Tom Warwick.

He was not called forward, and the bailiff subsequently announced his trial would be delayed until February 6.

A plea deal is allegedly still being negotiated, and could be approved at the next court hearing.
