At The Drive-In Reissues Coming

Acrobatic Tenement

I’m bummed that the Mars Volta have thrown in the towel. They were a solid progressive rock troupe and released two albums that basically fucked my mind apart when they were issued.

The Volta was a band that rose from the ashes of At The Drive-In, and At The Drive-In recently played some reunion gigs.

Now, two At The Drive-In reissues are coming, through the band’s own Twenty-First Chapter Records.

First, 1996′s Acrobatic Tenement will be re-released on March 5, followed by 2000′s groundbreaking Relationship Of Command on April 22.

Both will be made available in digital, CD and vinyl formats.

Now, for those unfamiliar with the Volta, listen to this song. It’s my all-time favorite jam by these dudes and it’s worth every fucking note.
