I guess this is Best Buy’s way of getting us to purchase the new Black Sabbath record from one of their stores.
Maybe when we’re inside the store getting 13 on June 11, we’ll see some of the amazing deals on TVs and music systems.
Perhaps we’ll walk around the store, and gaze at the low, low prices on computers and smartphones.
I guess that’s the fucking plan. We’ll go in there for one extra shitty Black Sabbath song, and walk out with new home entertainment systems.
Little do they know it will likely be available on YouTube within days of the album’s release, seeing as they’ve disclosed the name of the song: “Naïveté In Black.”
Someone will buy the version with the extra track, and maybe even a PS3. But that dude will share that extra track on YouTube. If it sounds decent enough, there are other ways of getting it.
Meanwhile, a deluxe version of 13 will boast three bonus tracks.
That’s a total of 12 tracks the band’s releasing (eight tunes are on the regular studio version of the LP).
Seems to me most albums have 12 tracks. Why not just release the dozen as the fucking record, or track one more tune and round it up to 13?
I’ll be buying no version of this record.
