Black Dahlia Frontman, Napalm Death Bassist Start Grind Project

Trevor Strnad

That’s the good word from MetalSucks.

The site claims a reliable industry source claims ex-Black Dahlia Murder member Shannon Lucas has teamed up with Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury and Black Dahlia leader Trevor Strnad “for a brand new grind project.”

The band also boasts guitarist Adam Faris, who was a member of Lucas’ old band Wartorn.

The group does not have a name yet, despite being formed by Lucas many years ago.

Both Lucas and Strnad will hit the studio in April to record drums and vocal tracks with Josh Schroeder, the site says.

Shane is said to be working on his bass tracks at him, and Faris’ guitars have been on tape for years.

There’s no way this can’t be good. Unless they purposely try to fuck it up.
