If you don’t care about the band Dredg or the band Far, chances are you won’t care about the following news on Black Map.

The Northern California trio from members of Dredg (Mark Engles), Far (Chris Robyn) and The Trophy Fire (Ben Flanagan) have unveiled the cover art for their debut full-length, …And We Explode.

The Black Map disc is due to hit stores on October 28 release through San Francisco label Minus Head Records.

The disc boasts a dozen tracks and was recorded at Hellam Sound in Oakland, California, with producer Aaron Hellam, who had worked with The Trophy Fire in the past. 

The band join Chevelle for a European outing later this month, returning for a pair of hometown shows in San Francisco and Sacramento in mid-December.
