More details have been revealed about the upcoming deluxe expanded-edition reissue of Black Sabbath’s Born Again…but of course, none of these details have been made official. It’s all speculation at this point.
The revamped Born Again will be available in the U.K. on May 30 via Sanctuary, and be spread out over two discs. The disc was the only Sabbath album featuring Deep Purple’s Ian Gillan.
The first disc will be the original version of the album, while the second disc will feature an expanded version of “Stonehenge,” a previously unreleased track called “The Fallen,” and nine live tracks, recorded at the 1983 Reading Festival.
Born Again was first released in October of 1983 and was a commercial smash, reaching the Top 40 in the U.S. However, it never reached gold or platinum status.
