Geezer Butler has issued an online “Thank you” to his fans for all of their support following his much-publicized arrest.
The Black Sabbath bassist was nabbed by the po-po this week for throwing down in a bar out in California.
Butler’s arrest followed an altercation at the Corkscrew Saloon on the Furnace Creek Ranch in Death Valley.
Geezer’s accused of turning up the heat during what initially began as a verbal spat.
Butler’s alleged to have punched a dude; he also broke a window, police said.
The 65-year-old musician was booked at the Inyo County Jail under his full name Terence Michael Butler. He was charged with misdemeanor assault, public intoxication and vandalism.
Online, Butler writes:
“Once again, thank you all for your non judgmental support. You have inspired me to be a better person. thank you. Peace, love.”
Peace, love, and punches.
