Black Tusk AND Fu Manchu? That’s Filthy

Black Tusk

Swamp metal merchants Black Tusk have announced a string of late summer tour dates featuring the almighty Fu Manchu and It’s Casual, a band I need to check out…just not today.

Black Tusk have an album out on Relapse called Taste the Sin, which is a fitting title. You’ll need a shower after listening to this disc. Black Tusk just wrapped the “Summer Southern Burn Tour” with Zoroaster and premiered a new video from their debut, called “Red Eyes, Black Skies,” online. Its supposedly also in rotation at MTV2 and MTVu, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

If you love sludgy guitar metal, with abrasive vocals and pounding drums, you need to check Black Tusk out. They’re not Stone Temple Pilots, which is a good thing.
