Great. Now Black Veil Brides have ruined July for me. Fucking cunting feral mooks.
I used to love July. It’s an amazing month, usually. The weather’s great, women dress less, and it’s a nice lead-in to August, which is my all-time favorite month.
Now, I hate July.
Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Ballsack told NME over the weekend at Download that they want to record the follow-up to Set The World On Fire by the end of August.
Ballsack also said that Goldfinger’s John Feldmann is assisting the Brides during the recording sessions for the new CD, which is tentatively due in October.
The dude from Goldfinger? Wow. I guess someone with even a modicum of metal credibility was unavailable?
“We’ve got three songs tracked. We’ve set ourselves a deadline of the end of August to finish it. We’ve got 20 to 25 songs written and we’re narrowing it down now,” says Ballsack, who some higher power wants dead.
“It’s going to be more of a punk rock record than anything we’ve done before. It’s Social Distortion meets Metallica,” he promised.
My word, that last quote made me nauseas.
“We’ve got a title, we’ve got a story,” says Ballsack. “It’s a bit of concept record, there’s a very serious story behind it. It’s full of surprises.”
