Ritchie Blackmore’s someone to look up to.
Musically, he’s achieved it all. In his personal life, he’s a winner, having married a hottie who’s half his age. I look up to Ritchie.
Now, we’ve gotten word that Blackmore’s Night will release a brand new album, called Dancer And The Moon, on June 11.
The album will be released in two editions; as a CD and a digipak deluxe edition with a bonus DVD that includes music videos of “Dancer And The Moon” and of “The Moon Is Shining (Somewhere Over The Sea),” plus an extensive interview with Ritchie Blackmore and his misses, Candice Night.
The album is the band’s eighth original studio album.
A press release claims Dancer And The Moon “follows the band’s eclectic/jam/folk rock/new age/neo-Celtic/neo-Medieval/progressive rock/chamber pop/world beat styling.”
Meaning my dad would dig it.
