Bloggers Stir Up Fake Controversy Over Emmure Shirt

So clever

Yesterday, two blogs of some renown and zero humor posted fake news stories about a “controversial” shirt that worthless fucking band Emmure started selling online, but pulled from their merch site hours later.

The same shirt was on sale when I was at New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, and I thought was, “Well, that’s fucking stupid.”

I hate kids these days. They just buy T-shirts with foul sayings on ‘em because they can, and then walk around all proud, as if the design was something they came up with to offend old ladies. I also hate bands that cater to that fucking 8-year-old mindset.

Iced Earth sold a shirt at Metal Fest that said “POOP” on the front, and “Even Hot Chicks Do It” on the back.

Emmure’s shirt is pictured with this post, and really isn’t that offensive. It’s lame. What is offensive is two blogs trying to stir up shit when there’s no shit to be stirred

The design is, in fact, five years old.

So, be careful, kids. Don’t just read some of these blogs blindly and believe everything they say.

Do that here. But not there.
