He’s been with the band since the fall, and now, Mauro Gonzalez is Bonded By Blood’s newest, permanent frontman. The band announced the addition today in a press release.
Mauro stepped up to the plate to front the thrash act — named after Exodus’ twisted debut — replacing former singer Jose “Aladdin” Barrales, who bounced some months ago.
“We would like to formally announce that Mauro Gonzalez is now officially the new frontman for Bonded By Blood,” says the band’s bassist, Jerry Garcia. Yeah — his name’s Jerry Garcia. “He has shown great promise and dedication in the past few months and we have received great reviews from many old fans, new fans, and well-established musicians throughout our recent North American trek. We are very excited about our decision and we hope that you guys welcome him into the BBB family like we have! See you guys on the killing road real soon.”
Good luck, dudes, and Mauro — be careful out there with all the groupies. Because they won’t be fucking Jerry Garcia.
Don’t forget that you can catch the band on the North American Retribution tour with Death Angel and Lazarus A.D.
