I love Canada. I’ve chilled in Vancouver and Toronto, and I think Canada’s the bee’s pajamas. The cat’s knees.
But when bands aren’t allowed into the country to play a show, that…well, that’s just whack, Canada.
Born Of Osiris are missing the Canadian stops of the Vans Warped Tour because drummer Cameron Losch was denied entry into the Great White North.
“We regret to inform you once again that we have been denied entry to perform at Warped Tour,” the band says in a statement.
“Due to a prior arrest of Cameron when he was 17, we have had a hard time getting into Canada our entire career,” says Born of Osiris, withholding details of that arrest.
Must’ve been for something violent.
“That being said, the rest of us will be at ALL of the Canada shows doing signings and hanging out/meeting all of you at our merch table. Again, we are so sorry that it has come to this…All we can do is make the best of it. See you guys this weekend.”
At least fans will get to hang with Born of Osiris at Warped. And they’ll have an easier time banging chick fans, seeing as they won’t have to play. Plenty of time to mack on the honeys.
