Truth is, I can’t stand this band. The fact that people dig them disgusts me, especially after hanging out with them on two separate occasions and seeing what they’re like off-stage.
One of those times came after their opening set for Guns N’ Roses in New York, where they proceeded to act like asshole rock stars, grabbing asses and openly making fun of the band they’d just opened for.
Look, Guns N’ Roses are one of those bands that’s easy to poke fun at, but after they gave you such an opportunity, why ridicule them? In front of people there to cover the show?
Anyways, Bullet For My Valentine must really want to sound like Avenged Sevenfold, because this new song gave me the same kind of douche chills I first experienced when I first heard “Bat Country.”
The song at the end of this post is called “Raising Hell,” and sadly, isn’t a Run D.M.C. cover.
The track was produced by Terry Date, and that’s evident. Dude polished the hell out of this turd.
The song comes from the band’s forthcoming album, due out next year at some point.
